FLOATING IN THE SEA, IN A HAMMOCK IN THE TREES
The body in water is floating, relaxed, suspended, buoyant. Yet the bathtub, in spite of this, is typically a very hard and cold surface. This design challenges that. It is not hard and rigid, but soft and pliant.
Its soft polyurethane shell deforms to the contours of the body. Rather than sitting on the floor, it is held by a tension ring suspended between two stainless steel poles - water supply, and towel and soap storage.
